NEW TO CHURCH?
Welcome to Buckhurst Hill Baptist Church!
We are a lively, growing church in the heart of Buckhurst Hill.

When & where does the church meet?
The church meets every Sunday at 10.30am for our Sunday Morning Worship, which includes corporate worship, preaching of The Word and ministries for Children and Youth. It helps to get there 10 minutes early to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.
We are also introducing 3 new services:
Worship and Communion Service at 10:30am
Evening Worship and Word at 6:30pm
These services are on the 3rd Sunday only and not in August or December
Early Worship Service at 9am
This service is on the 1st Sunday only and not in August or December
We meet at the church building in Buckhurst Hill. The address is:
Buckhurst Hill Baptist Church
28 Palmerston Road
Essex IG9 5LW
You can view a map on our contact page.
There is some parking available on the site and more on the roadside.
What to expect when I visit the church?
You can expect a warm welcome, great worship, impacting preach and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God.
Also tea, coffee and biscuits are available after the service!
What happens to the kids at church?
Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the service. The speaker will make it clear where and when children need to go to their programme.
We have a fantastic programme for the kids at church for ages 4-12. All children should be registered as you come into the church building and you may need to accompany smaller children to their room until they are settled. Children can expect to have fun playing games, and learn about God in a relevant way.
For babies and younger children, we have a creche where you can either stay with you children or leave them. The service is transmitted into the creche, so you can see and hear what is happening in the main service. However, this depends on what is actually happening in the creche on the day.
Is there a dress code?
No! Just wear something comfortable!
