NEW TO CHURCH?

Welcome to Buckhurst Hill Baptist Church!

We are a lively, growing church in the heart of Buckhurst Hill.

BHBC seeks to impact our world by building a Christ-centred church, connecting, transforming and empowering lives.

We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30am, as well as at 6.30pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month and 9am on the 1st Sunday of the month.

As of Easter Sunday (4th April) we are live in our Sanctuary once again! We are blessed to have the opportunity to worship more freely, as of 19th July, and we are now able to welcome people without taking bookings. We have a few recommendations for those wishing to attend church, which we believe will benefit all. Click here to find out more information. If you are unable to join us in person, please continue to gather with us on YouTube every Sunday Morning at 10.30am, as we transmit the livestream of our service live from the Sanctuary. May God bless you as meet with Him through our online services. Prepare for Sunday by viewing and subscribing to our channel here.

We are a church for everyone, all the family and community. We would say, “Come as you are!”

What to expect when I visit the church?

You can expect a warm welcome, great worship, impacting preach and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God.

Also tea, coffee and biscuits are available after the service!

What happens to the kids at church?

Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the service. The speaker will make it clear where and when children need to go to their programme.

We have a fantastic programme for the kids at church for ages 4-12. All children should be registered as you come into the church building and you may need to accompany smaller children to their room until they are settled. Children can expect to have fun playing games, and learn about God in a relevant way.

For babies and younger children, we have a creche where you can either stay with you children or leave them. The service is transmitted into the creche, so you can see and hear what is happening in the main service. However, this depends on what is actually happening in the creche on the day.

Is there a dress code?

No, just wear something comfortable!
